My name is Alex Houghton, I am a student at Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom currently studying Computer Games Technology.
I’ve always loved computer games and technology since I first started playing them on my family’s first ever PC. The classic games that opened the world of computing and video games to me were Doom 2 and Abe’s Oddyseyy. Compared to what games look like currently it really is amazing how fast the technology and software has developed over the years. I’ve seen over the years how the games industry has progressed and become one of the biggest entertainment industries in the world, the fantastic part is, it’s still growing. Games are getting better and better, more realistic in terms of graphics and gameplay and I wish someday to be a part of this brilliant industry.
Through my love of Games has developed a passion for all areas of computing and programming, leading me to creating a number of unique applications and games outside the bounds of my learning curriculum.
